As you may have heard, Carleen Basler our former Volunteer Coordinator has transitioned into a new role as our Program Director, so… we are hiring for a new Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator!
Seeking an excellent communicator and problem solver with experience managing volunteers and working in a human service environment. The Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, and acknowledgement of the Center’s more than 250 weekly volunteers, as well as coordination of program outreach efforts throughout the community. 40 hrs/wk incl. some eve/weekend hrs. $17-18/hr plus excellent benefits. Strong preference for bi-lingual candidate (English + Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese).
